CampVantage for your AI assistant
CampVantage connects your AI assistant — Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that supports connectors — to your own camping trip at a campground or RV park that uses CampVantage. Once connected, your assistant can see your trip and help with it: plan your days, answer questions about the park, find places nearby and pass your requests to the park.
Who can use it
Anyone with a current or upcoming stay at a CampVantage park. You only ever see your own trips.
Connect it
Claude: open Settings → Connectors, find CampVantage in the directory and choose Connect. You can also add it as a custom connector with this address: https://trip.insiderperks.com/mcp
ChatGPT and other assistants: add a connector or app with the same address, https://trip.insiderperks.com/mcp
Sign in
When you connect, a CampVantage sign-in page opens. Sign in either way:
- Email or mobile number from your reservation — we send a 6-digit code that works for 10 minutes, or
- Confirmation number and last name from your reservation.
You then see the trips you're sharing and choose Allow. Your assistant gets access only to those trips. Sign-ins last 30 days and renew while you use them; disconnect any time in your assistant's settings.
What your assistant can do
- Read your trip: dates, site, reservation details, the drive there with fuel prices, your plan, weather and tonight's sky, the park's information and house rules, what to bring, nearby places and help, your requests and what you've told the park.
- Plan: add, move, swap or remove plan items, add notes, and undo its last change.
- Find places: search nearby in your own words for a given day and time, with each place's details and Google's facts (dogs, vegan options, kids, reservations, accessibility).
- Ask the park: answer questions from the park's own information.
- Contact the park for you: send the staff a request (maintenance, housekeeping, late checkout or other), tell the front desk you're on your way, and share feedback — only when you ask.
- Remember things for your stay: save who's coming, your rig and your preferences on your profile with that park, or delete them.
Every change can be tried first as a dry run, which shows what would happen without doing it.
What it can't do
It can't take payments, book or change your reservation, open gates or doors, or see anyone else's trips. Changes to your reservation are made with the park.
Your privacy
